Quebec Mountain Biking Destination

Assignment

In early 2016, Québec City Tourism, Vallée Bras-du-Nord, Sentiers du Moulin, Mont-Sainte-Anne, Développement Côte-de-Beaupré, and Jacques Cartier RCM tasked Oasis with developing a new program to market the Quebec City area as a mountain biking destination outside the province. The account entails setting up the partnership structure, developing marketing, creative, and website strategies, and handling media planning, monitoring, and performance measures, among other things.

Issues & challenges

Our main challenge with the program was to establish the region as a mountain-biking destination on par with established destinations like Burke, Vermont. Our agency team and program partners—mountain biking enthusiasts one and all—are convinced that we have THE perfect product in hand to generate tangible results from a clientele looking for memorable experiences.

Results

After attending a recent presentation of the program, the new branding, the website, and the marketing campaign, our partners are enthusiastically looking forward to the next phase. The first campaign will be rolled out in summer 2016 and will inform subsequent steps.
